Half of the rap duo City Girls, Yung Miami, took to Twitter to give her opinion on deadbeat dads on Aug. 24. The rapper has two children.
The rapper, whose real name is Caresha Brownlee, let it be known that she has no love lost for a deadbeat daddy.
“I hate a dead beat dad them kids be innocent!”
She also posted comments on her Instagram Stories about bad fathers, but with a twist.
“Deadbeat dads are the real trash of the world. Next are abusers.”
Brownlee didn’t allude to whom she was speaking of. The father of her son, Jai Wiggins, passed away in 2020, but her one-year-old daughter’s father is music producer Southside.
Social media apparently had similar sentiments about bad fathers because the tweet was shared nearly 3,000 times and received more than 8,000 likes. Lil Duval was one of the thousands who shared the tweet, and he called out deadbeat moms as well, saying that deadbeat moms were worse.

What Lil Duval meant by worse, we don’t know. But we agree with the Twitter user who said both were bad.
Like why wouldn’t BOTH be Equally Bad pic.twitter.com/TcxLJOPXUZ

Ashley Acevedo, the mother of one of Southside’s other children, had also accused him of not properly providing for their child and began a GoFundMe, which is no longer accepting donations. The music producer reportedly has six children.
“Times have been hard for us this year with maintaining bills and putting food on the table,” she wrote on GoFundMe. “My son’s father is a wealthy producer named Southside 808mafia who refuses to send support payments for his seven-year-old son. He knows this is his son and has stopped supporting since I am seeking child support through the courts because he IS NOT consistent with helping his son with his half.”
Brownlee broke up with the producer in September of 2020, and rumors that Brownlee was dating Sean “P Diddy” Combs began in June of 2021 when the two attended a birthday party together and were seen holding hands. Brownlee also posted a photo of the couple on Instagram but later removed it.
