Yung Joc Swings On Son Amoni During Argument On Love & Hip Hop Atlanta

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Yung Joc lost his temper during a heated argument with his son, Amoni, and swung on the twenty-year-old during the Aug. 23 episode of the show. Joc also threw a chair during the incident.

Ironically, the argument started out as a pep-talk. Joc and Amoni’s mom, Alex Robinson, were having issues with their son’s associates, and Joc was trying to talk to his son about family, loyalty and safety.

The two met at Joc’s empty nightclub to talk, but things took a turn for the worse as Joc became increasingly annoyed with Amoni. The rapper felt that Amoni wasn’t being respectful or listening to him.

“I’m not gonna lose you to these streets!” Joc screamed during the argument.

At one point, Joc threw a chair and began to walk away but returned to finish the conversation. The two continued to argue, but when Amoni raised his voice at his father, Joc lunged towards him before the screen went black.

Amoni was upset afterwards and can be heard yelling, “You gonna swing on me? I ain’t did nothing to that man.”

Fans of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta hated to see the two men fighting and were vocal on social media.

Joc discussed the incident on the Streetz Morning Takeover radio show on Aug. 24. He posted the show on Instagram and captioned the post, “Love 4 my Son. I love you Amoni.”

“I lost my cool,” said Joc.

He went on to say that he was frustrated by his son’s indifference and feared for his safety. The rapper also said the two have mended fences already.

“My son came to apologize, so I was open to that. It takes a man admit when you’re wrong or to be able to say, ‘Hey, I don’t mind expressing my humility.’ We both got carried away as men, you know we gonna honor each other and continue to put loyalty first, you know what I’m saying. That’s how it started…. But then it kind of got to the point where like, ‘Man, I’m grown, I don’t want you telling me when I’m wrong.’ I was like ‘what?’ It was the bucket for me, you know what I’m saying?”

Love & Hip Hop airs on Mondays on VH1.
