Veteran rapper and LHHATL star Yung Joc mistakenly sent $1800 to a stranger via Zelle and got blocked by them afterward.
Joc shared a post about the frustrating mishap via Instagram on Oct. 20. The screenshotted exchange showed that he politely asked for his money back but got blocked instead.
“So I sent them a Zelle by mistake and they won’t return my money….can y’all please call/text them and ask them to return my lil change? 6785987689,” he wrote in the post’s caption.
Joc also hilariously added the song “Where Dem Dollas At (feat. DJ Paul, Juicy J)” (1998) by Memphis rapper Gangsta Boo.

During the exchange, Joc asked the recipient to “do the right thing.”
“Hi, can you please return the $1800 that I mistakenly sent to your account via Zelle? I don’t know you nor do you know me. Please do the right thing.”
He also told the individual that god has a bigger blessing for them.
“God has a bigger blessing for you. I know that you’ve blocked my number, and that’s ok. I just need the $1800 that was sent to your account via Zelle.”
A few celebs commented on Joc’s post and shared that they accidentally sent money to a stranger too.
“Man, someone sent me like $1500 dollars one day by accident. I sent that money right back. The type of bad karma you will endure isn’t worth it,” singer Vedo wrote. “You may not feel it right away, but that $1800 gone cost them much more.”
Celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur chimed Gocha Hawkins chimed in and warned the rapper to “be careful” with Zelle.
“Same thing happen[ed] to me with someone. I sent them the same message no response, nor did I get my money back,” Gocha said. “Gotta be careful with Zelle since it’s instant. Hope you get it back.”
It’s unclear if the $1800 was returned to Joc or not.
