Rapper Yo-Yo is setting the record straight about Tupac’s love for Jada Pinkett Smith. The green-eyed bombshell said he loved her more than Smith.
It’s been over 20 years since Tupac’s death, but the rapper’s reputation for being a ladies’ man is still intact. West Coast royalty Yo-Yo is one of them, as she has nothing but great things to say about the rapper.
In a recent interview with Jazmyn Summers for Euroweb, she spilled the tea about her endless love for Tupac Shakur, among other things.
“We were in love, and we loved each other until the day he died. Pac became like a brother to me. We were just two people on the road who found each other, fell in love with each other,” she said. “We spent many nights on the road together. He wasn’t perfect nor was he trying to be. He wasn’t afraid to talk about his community, about his parents, stuff that people don’t what to hear about, stuff people don’t want to talk about. People don’t want to talk about their truth. That kind of love he had for truth made me love him more. ”
Naturally, she mentioned Tupac’s feelings toward Jada Pinkett Smith. Smith is widely known as his former lover and confidant in the public eye. Although many know about Yo-Yo and Pac’s relationship, its not mentioned as much as he and Smith’s relationship. When Summers asked Yo-Yo if Smith was the true apple of Tupac’s eye she responded, “No, I was.”
Then she proceeded to explain herself saying,
“No, I’m only joking…Tupac had a love for Jada but he had a love for women. Anyone he dealt with he loved. He had many loves,” she said. “He was a sweetheart, he was a Gemini. I mean, he was a romantic person. Anybody he dealt with he loved…I think he might’ve had many loves that weren’t even famous.”
