Memphis rapper, Yo Gotti and daughter of Run-DMC’s Rev Run, Angela Simmons, have made their relationship official going into the new year. With a romantic set of photoshoots on December 31 for New Year’s Eve. On Saturday, Gotti and Simmons posted their respective Instagrams and stories to commemorate their relationship.

Yo Gotti posted a video of Simmons in a stunning black dress next to a Rolls-Royce, wishing her a happy New Year. The video cut to the pair toasting with champagne in presumably the luxury car with “Forever” by Lil Baby playing. Gotti captioned the post, “Ain loss a crush since High School,”

He continued the night with the second post of him and Simmons sharing a kiss outside the expensive vehicle. The caption read, “Happy New Year 2023 #CMG,” 

On her own Instagram, Simmons showed off her new relationship with a photo of her and Gotti posing together. “You are all I need and more,” she wrote. Simmons and Gotti put out videos on their stories from the night of festivities where they spent time watching fireworks on the water. 

Yo Gotti famously rapped about Angela Simmons back in 2015 with his song “Down in the DM.” The lyrics are “And I just followed Angela (Simmons) / Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons / They like, ‘D*** Gotti, you bold’ / F*** it, I’m gon’ let the world know (goals),” He rapped.
