D-Roc addressed fans and attendees of the performance a few days later. On Monday, he shared an Instagram video with this side of what went down on stage.
The short video message was captioned, “Thank you to everyone that has called, messaged, or reached out in any way to check up on me. I’m doing good. #Ontario CA we’ll be seeing you on Saturday for the 00s Playlist Concert. -DRoc.”
In his video speech, D-Roc claims he was “dehydrated,” causing the collapse.
“I wanna thank everybody for their concern. Let me tell you what went on Friday night ’cause that’s when it happened,” D-Roc started. “It was 84 degrees outside, yes, but on stage, it made the temperatures rise, so I was getting dehydrated. The only thing y’all were seeing was the fall,” he continued.
“I kept on telling my manager, I was like look, it’s very hot up here, it’s very hot up here. I kept drinking water, kept drinking water. The next thing I know, I woke up on the golf cart. Paramedics were right there and said I was dehydrated,” D-Roc added.

The group rose to mainstream popularity in 2003, collaborating with Britney Spears and Lil Jon, and has since been a staple name in the rap scene.
D-Roc said he is recovering post-performance, drinking plenty of water and Gatorade, and getting much-needed rest.
We are glad to hear he is doing better.
