In light of Kenan Thompson’s pending divorce from his estranged wife Christina Evangeline, the mother of his children has seemingly moved on with Thompson’s former Saturday Night Live castmate Chris Redd. Black Twitter definitely had reactions to the news.

reported the messy tea on September 27. According to the outlet, Redd and Evangeline allegedly started dating within the past year. A source claimed that Thompson and his wife of 11 years were good and finished when she began dating Redd. Thompson and Evangeline had been separated since 2019. The Saturday Night Live actor is reportedly cool with the pairing.

“We’re told Kenan’s aware of his ex’s romance with Chris and has no hard feelings – he’s apparently moved on and is happily dating other people,” TMZ noted. 

Evangeline, 33, and Thompson, 44, have agreed to amicably co-parent their daughters– Gianna, 3, and Georgia, 7. The publication also reported that a source said the two are “good friends.”

Twitter had a lot to say about Redd and Evangeline’s alleged relationship.

Last week, Redd announced that he was leaving Saturday Night Live after five seasons. He joined the cast in 2017.
