Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West recently shared a ‘Skete Davidson Dead’ post following reports of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and comedian Pete Davidson’s breakup.
Kanye shared the now-deleted ‘Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28’ post via Instagram on Aug. 8–moments after news broke that Kim and Pete had split. The viral image depicted a fake New York Times newspaper. It included a line aiming at award-winning rapper Kid Cudi, who was recently pelted with trash at Rolling Loud Miami 2022. Kanye was reportedly scheduled to take the stage that night but ended up being replaced by the 38-year-old.

Back in March, the DONDA rapper publicly threatened to whoop Pete’s a** on a diss track featuring L.A. rapper Game called “Eazy.”
“God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” Kanye said in the song. Its accompanying video, which dropped a few days later, showed himself kidnapping, killing and burying a claymation version of the comedian. However, Pete seemed unbothered about it, as sources close to him said he found it “hysterical” and “ridiculous.”
Months after the hoopla, it was reported that Kanye was “heartbroken” over him and Kim’s children–Psalm (3), Chicago (4), Saint (6), and North (9)–allegedly becoming close to Pete. The news arrived following Pete’s outings with them in April, as he was seen riding in an electric car with North and went on a shopping trip with Saint. Paparazzi also captured photos of him and Saint at the Cheesecake Factory and checking out toys at a Walmart in Woodland Hills.
Pete and Kim reportedly broke up after just nine months of dating. They officially went public with their relationship at the end of 2021, as Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in December of that year. Since then, Kim and Kanye have been involved in a nasty dispute on social media that Ye said was about Kim allowing North to have a TikTok account without his permission.
