Amara La Negra is now officially a member of the moms club. The 31-year-old Dominican singer gave birth to her twin daughters late last month. 

On April 6, Amara shared the birth of her daughters on Instagram with a photo of her in the hospital. The caption read, “3/23,” with two baby emojis and a tag to her twins’ Instagram page. 

 

Celebrities and fans congratulated the new mom on the birth of her twins in the comment section.

Dominican fitness guru Massy Arias wrote, “Aaaahhh congrats, my love❤️.”

Love & Hip Hop franchise castmate Karlie Redd also sent the singer well-wishes. 

“Aaaahhh, congrats, my love❤️.”

“Congrats -2 You 💖💖See what I did there, lol. I love you, my birthday twin, 💕💜”  Lil Mama wrote, showing love to Amara and her baby girls while acknowledging the two women share the same birthday.

Cuban singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan also wrote a congratulatory message in Spanish–  complete with white baby emojis, “El momento en que tu vida cambia para siempre a llegado! Bendiciones, buena vibra y felicidad para esas nuevas vidas que traes a nuestro bello mundo…FELICIDADES, amiga!! ✌️😘❤️🎶👏👏👏☀️👩‍🍼👶🏻👶🏻.”

The message translates to, “The moment your life changes forever has arrived! Blessings, good vibes and congratulations to those new lives that you bring to the world.”

Amara’s twins’ birth announcement is fresh on the heels of the Miami-born entertainer revealing the identity of the father of her daughters. In March, she posted a photo of Allan Mueses, a Dominican investor and off-and-on novio, on Instagram.

Photographer Esmerling Ventura captured the beautiful image of Allan and  Amara, posting it on IG. She also congratulated the pair, “Congrats 🎉 @amaralanegraaln loveee you both.”

Allan also posted a short video on his Instagram from the hospital where Amara was giving birth. The now-father of four daughters rocked blue scrubs, a mask and a surgical bonnet with a side of bling. 

He wrote an endearing message to his baby girls, saying that he would love and protect them while thanking God for the blessing. Allan also told his twin girls that they had a village waiting for them.

“🙏🏻Agradecido con papá Dios por la bendición de convertirme en padre de dos hermosas mellizas 👯💖.💖Las amare y protegeré con todo. Ya tiene muchos tíos y tías esperando verlas y cargarlas y una familia llena de amor para compartir con ustedes. Crezcan rápido y Sean como su papi y su mami, trabajadores, respetuosos, amorosos, soñadores y guerreros.”
