Rapper Wiz Khalifa recently signed 25 college athletes to NIL deals under his Taylor Gang entertainment company.
According to On3, Wiz Khalifa signed 25 collegiate athletes to NIL (name, image, and likeness) deals under his label. The agreement, brokered by the A&P Agency, reportedly requires each athlete to post a clip of themselves dancing to his new song, “45 Minute Beatdown” via Instagram stories. The song, which dropped on Dec. 17, features Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
The sports players were reportedly compensated an undisclosed amount. The Rapper Wiz Khalifa recently signed 25 college athletes to NIL deals under his Taylor Gang entertainment company. Their agreement is one of the first record label NIL deals, which gives college athletes the opportunity to profit from their image and influence via endorsement deals.
“Right now in the music industry, there is no better marketing tool to communicate to the college demographic effectively except for our athletes that have a vast following consisting of students and alumni which we have developed over our course of our relationship with our athletes,” A&P Agency representative Stefan Aguilera told Yahoo Finance.
He continued saying, “A&P Agency is the optimal choice for the music industry, not just because we represent the best athletes, but because nobody understands the college market better than us speaking in terms of creative marketing.”
Though the “Black And Yellow” rapper hasn’t been in the media much lately, he recently made an appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Dec. 15. During the appearance he shared about his experience smoking weed with Olympic champion swimmer Michael Phelps.

That night, he also performed his Multiverse single “Memory Lane” with his band.
The following day, Wiz shared an Instagram photo of himself on stage at one of his latest performances.
“Great weather great people what a way to end the week thankful for everyone who had fun get home safely to your families #neverdrinkingagain [tongue out emoji],” the post’s caption said.
