Emmy Award-winning media mogul and talk show host Wendy Williams partied with blogger and entrepreneur Jason Lee at the 2022 MET Gala after-party.
Lee took to Instagram to post a video clip of himself and Williams, who was all smiles in a bright red, pink, and blue dress, at the party.
“Yo, [I] came to New York for the MET Gala, but I wasn’t [going to] come outside without the sexiest date in New York City,” he said in the video before it panned over to The Wendy Williams Show host.

“How you doing?” he asked, in her signature catchphrase.
“How youuuu doooiinnggg,” she replied. She also wore tall satin black bunny ears and a diamond “W” necklace.
“Bye,” Lee abruptly concluded. He also added three more posts of himself and the media giant on his page.

The two were busy partying at the party hosted by Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and Playboy at the Boom Boom Room in New York City. The iconic club sits atop the Standard Hotel in the historic Meatpacking District.
Williams reportedly said she would return to The Wendy Williams Show following a recent trip to Miami.
“This is what I would to say to my ‘Wendy’ watchers: Keep watching because I’m going to be back on the ‘Wendy’ show bigger and brighter than ever,” she said.
The news arrived just months after the hit FOX show was canceled after 14 seasons in February. Its production company, Debmar-Mercury, confirmed that it would be replaced by Sherri, hosted by Emmy Award-winning comedian Sherri Shepherd.
A source close to the production company reportedly said that it has been “100 percent committed” to Shepherd’s new show, originally scheduled to debut in the fall. It also locked in slots with FOX while planning to air it on other networks.
In March, Williams was allegedly offered to become a guest co-host on the hit ABC daytime show, The View.
