Wendy Williams has asked a New York court to restore her access to a bank account containing millions of dollars following the media personality’s ongoing health issues. 

The 57-year-old’s attorney filed a petition two days ago asking a judge to grant Williams access to a Wells Fargo account holding “several million dollars,” according to court documents, The Grio reported.

Williams has been reportedly locked out of the account for two weeks, court records indicated. As a result, she has suffered “imminent and irreparable financial damage,” her petition said. 

“Wells Fargo’s actions and the actions of its agents have impeded and unlawfully prevented [Williams] access to her property,” the petition stated.

The bank’s agreement with Williams allowed it to “pause or reject instructions for a proposed transaction” if the company suspects “financial exploitation, dementia, or undue influence,” the petition noted.

In November, the New Jersey native’s brother denied rumors that his sister suffers from dementia. Her attorney asserted in the petition that Wells Fargo surpassed the initial agreement because Williams hasn’t made any suspicious transactions for the bank to pause or deny access to the funds. 

While the dispute with Wells Fargo is likely headed to arbitration, the petition requested that Williams gain full access to the money in the account.

It asked the court to “reopen any frozen accounts or assets” and to grant her access to “any accompanying statements, currently identifiable as accounts and/or policies which contain funds that were removed and/or withheld” from her accounts within 48 hours from Friday, The Grio reported.

Since Williams’ hiatus, producers have called on celebrity guest-hosts to fill her absence. 

Last month, show execs announced February’s lineup of guest hosts to continue the show without Williams’ presence. 

Actor Michael Rapaport guest-hosted the show from Feb. 4. to Feb. 7 and will continue until Feb. 11. Bronx rappers Fat Joe and Remy Ma will co-host again after hosting earlier this month. Two hosts will also be holding it down from Feb. 14 to Feb. 18 as TV personality
