Singers Tiffany Evans and Jawan Harris are expecting their first child together. 

The couple announced the exciting news on their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday, gushing at the thought of bringing new life into the world. 

“This next chapter in our lives will always be cherished and definitely one to remember. I tried holding out for a little longer, but I can’t hold it in anymore! I’m honored to announce that WE HAVE A BABY ON THE WAY‼️👀🤰🏽😱🤷🏾‍♂️ This just gives our music that we’re about to drop a whole new meaning 🙌🏾 @tiffanyevansofficial I love you to the moon and back, baby!!! Thank you for carrying my offspring and making this a memorable experience,” Harris wrote in the caption. 

Evans posted the following day to her Instagram account, thanking fans for their well-wishes on their growing family. 

“My heart says thank you for all of the love, kind words, and support you guys have sent to myself, my Hubby @jawanharris and #BabyHarris 💕it has been beautiful, and we’re grateful. Thank you for your prayers! Love you all,” she wrote in the caption.

The parents-to-be formed an R&B duo called Jawan x Tiffany and released a single entitled “Finally” in October 2020. Evans explained to Rated R&B that the melodic slow jam is based on the couple’s relationship.

 “It was based on the idea of love and where we were in our relationship when we actually first met,” she said. 

While Evans didn’t know if she wanted to record the song alone or collaborate with another artist, she turned to fans on social media for their feedback. 

“I remember posting the track on Instagram, and the response was crazy. I had Avery Wilson, Raheem DeVaughn under the post,” Evans said. “Sammie was on it, like, ‘I need to be on it.’ Long story short, I sent the track to Jawan, and it blew his mind. He was like, ‘Honestly, I think that this is the record for us. We need to do this.’ But it took three years.”
