01 Coko and Fat Joe

Did you know that both Fat Joe and SWV’s Coko were childhood friends from the Boogie Down Bronx? Fat Joe launched his rapping career as the Hip-Hop group Terror Squad leader while Coko formed

her singing career as the lead singer of one of the best ’90s R&B groups, SWV. The New York natives viewed each other as brother and sister and have maintained their close friendship for over two decades.

02 Jada Pinkett Smith and MC Lyte

These ladies have been close friends since Baltimore native Jada Pinkett Smith met the hip-hop icon when she was 19. Since then, they have supported each other’s careers and remain more youthful than ever.

06 Reginae Carter and Zonnique

These ladies know the definition of true friendship since their mothers, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris and Toya Johnson, have been close friends for many years. However, Reginae Carter and Zonnique have been joined at the hip since they were young girls.

When they’re not traveling or partying together, Zonnique is in mom mode with her infant daughter, Hunter. Carter refers to the baby girl as her “god baby.”
