According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, rapper and artist, Silento is facing four felony charges in connection to the fatal shooting of his cousin Frederick Rooks in DeKalb County, Georgia.
The artist was arrested in February for allegedly murdering Rooks in a shooting that happened in January. He has been in custody since his arrest. A Georgia grand jury ruled that the “Watch Me Whip/ Nae Nae” rapper, born Ricky Lamar Hawk, faces one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, aggravated assault, and gun possession during the commission of a felony.
Silento’s associates attribute the rapper’s alleged mental health issues to his violent behavior.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Rooks’ corpse was found outside a Panthersville home near a road on January 21. He had been shot in the face and legs. Panthersville is a southeastern suburb of Atlanta.
Officers discovered shell casings near Rooks’ body. Video footage taken from near the scene captured at least one of the gunshots.
No motive has been released regarding Rooks’ murder.
Silento has had previous issues with the law.
During August last year, he was arrested twice in the same week on domestic violence and gun charges in California, after being accused of walking into an unlocked stranger’s home in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles and reportedly attempted to swing a hatchet at the residents before one of them disarmed him.
In late October, he was booked into the DeKalb jail for driving more than 140 mph on I -85. He told officers that he was being followed.
Silento is currently being held without bail after a judge denied his bond request.
