Earlier this week, a viral video surfaced of “Wipe Me Down” rapper Boosie Badazz checking a man who was allegedly berating a Black female hotel employee.
In the short clip, Boosie is barking at a man outside of an unidentified hotel for disrespecting an employee.
Although the details of what led to the incident aren’t clear, Boosie’s response isn’t hard to interpret.
“I’m a man. You not going to talk to me like that. I will beat the f*** out you,” the Louisiana native snapped in the video, “You not gonna talk to her like that. I will beat your ass. You not going to disrespect no woman like that, bro. C’mon, she telling you she’s […] everybody saying they’re sorry. You heard both, bruh. She keep telling you she’s sorry. Everybody saying they’re sorry, and you’re still messing with her.”

In the comments, Instagram fans pointed out that at one point in the video, a member of Boosie’s team moved to the side of the scolded man and looked as if he was preparing to throw a punch.
“Bro in the cut was finna get WICKED,” one user commented.
Another responded with, “Boosie homie slid and loosened up his arm just in case,” both were met with a lot of laughs and likes.
Afterward, Boosie took to Twitter on Thursday, June 23, to offer more context to his reaction to the clip. He claimed that the man was “doing the most” and explained his reason for getting involved.
“The reason I told that man that because he backed a woman down until she could do nothing.”
He continued in the post, “He kept approaching her after she said sorry. Then he said no, you go apologize to my wife too!”

The thing I love about men in Baton Rouge Boosie generation and greater is they not about to tolerate disrespect of women in their presence. I love it!
