Rapper Yung Miami of the City Girls recently twerked on rapper Quavo of Atlanta trio Migos during their “Strub Tha Ground” performance at Rolling Loud.
Yung Miami, whose real name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee, backed it up on Quavo, whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall, while he and the City Girls performed “Strub Tha Ground.” The hit collaboration song dropped with an accompanying video that paid homage to the annual spring break festival in Atlanta, Freaknik, in 2021.
In a viral video, the 28-year-old is seen throwing it back on Quavo in a sparkly silver performance outfit as he recited his verse from “Strub Tha Ground” on the mic. Naturally, the crowd went wild and began screaming with excitement.
Miami and JT, whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson, gave an overall energy-filled show at Rolling Loud Miami on July 23. The duo was also featured in Rap Caviar’s latest artwork celebrating today’s top female rap artists on its “Feelin’ Myself” playlist.
Apart from making hits with the City Girls, Miami has been busy hosting her new show Caresha Please on Revolt. Its latest episode, which aired on July 14, featured an interview with New Orleans rapper Kevin Gates.
“I see you think with your mind and not with your d**k,” she was seen telling Gates in a TMI interview clip uploaded to her Instagram page on July 16.
Miami has also been promoting her merchandise collection via Instagram.
“My NEW merch just dropped @careshaplease & you need it! Real f*****g Bad! Tap the link in bio now to shop!” she wrote in a promotional post starring fellow Miami rapper Saucy Santana on July 22. At the beginning of the video, Miami was seen “FaceTiming” someone nicknamed “Papi”–her real-life nickname for Diddy. The two reportedly made their romance public during the first episode of Caresha Please in June.
