Mike Tyson allegedly punched an inebriated passenger in the face during a JetBlue flight from San Francisco to Florida on Wednesday evening.
Video footage obtained by TMZ showed that the former heavyweight boxing champion lost it after the passenger’s incessant talking and foolishness began to annoy the 55-year-old athlete.
Initially, a witness told the outlet that Tyson was friendly with passengers. He took selfies and chatted with fellow JetBlue fliers, but later– the unruly passenger kept talking to Tyson even after asking the intoxicated man to “chill.”
The boxer’s anger got the best of him, and Tyson stood up, turned around, and pummeled the man.
In the aftermath, another passenger recording showed the man’s bloody face and him being ironically quiet.
“My boy just got beat up by Mike Tyson,” the guy filming the ordeal said from behind the camera. “Yeah, he got f–ked up.”
Tyson deplaned shortly after the incident.
The chatterbox received medical attention and called the police. It’s not confirmed if charges will be brought against Tyson. All parties involved have declined to comment.
The admitted hothead has been a little calmer in recent years as he’s gotten older.
Last month, he showed compassion to a gunman after the man brandished his weapon at a comedy show in Hollywood. The gunman went to the boxer’s table as he sat with friends.
As he disrupted the comedian’s set, the man challenged Tyson to fight. The chilled-out former champion didn’t take the bait, and the show’s host demanded the gunman leave. An argument ensued, and he drew the weapon causing the audience to take cover under tables.
After the situation deescalated, the man begged Tyson not to call the police. The 55-year-old man obliged and left the building.
