VIDEO: Jamie Foxx & Snoop Dogg Team Up As Vampire Slayers In Netflix Film

Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg are teaming up as a vampire-slaying squad in the new Netflix film, Day Shift. The trailer for the LA-based film was released on July 11, showing a few familiar faces.

Foxx plays a “pool cleaner” who really uses the chlorine and pool supply company to cover up his real job – fighting vampires. He’s joined by his hunting gang Snoop and Dave Franco.

In the trailer, Snoop Dogg narrates, saying, “Vampire hunting is a business. Cutting necks and cashing checks.”

John Wick’s Director J.J. Perry and producer Chad Stahelski are responsible for the bloody, action-packed motion pic.

Meagan Good also appears in the Day Shift

trailer as Foxx’s love interest and mother to their daughter.

The two stars shared the trailer on Instagram, hyping up the movie’s debut.

Snoop, 50, wrote, “The Dogg gone Vampire Hunting. #DayShift out only on @netflix August 12.”

Foxx, 54, shared a lengthier post with a long list of thank-yous.

“Yooooooo!!!! CHECK THE TRAILER ASAP!!!! It’s about to be crazy!!!!!! “Day Shift Movie” is about to change the game!!!!,” Foxx wrote.
He went on to shout out the “incredible cast and director” and the actors we can expect to make appearances in the film.
Foxx continued, “@meagangood, who kills it! @karlasouza, who murders it! @dave_franco_officialy, who freaks it! And @snoopdogg, who shows the world he ain’t to be f#%ked with!!!! And to @jjlocoperry our chief and Director, who made it all happen!!! Thank you for allowing us to be in your debut film!!! You are about to change the artistic frontier!!! Everybody check out the trailer!!!! On August 12, buckle up!!! we bout to go huntin!!!! @netflix
đŸ™đŸŸđŸ™đŸŸđŸ™đŸŸ we got one! #vampires, and we can’t forget @davebrownusa.”
We’re excited to see Foxx on the small screen after his latest Netflix sitcom, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me, was canceled last year.
The eight-episode comedy series was produced by Foxx and his daughter, Corinne. The show was based on their relationship throughout Corinne’s teenage years, but after receiving negative ratings, it was canceled after its first season.
Snoop has a few other projects circulating on Netflix. Last month Netflix released the Cali native’s comedy special Snoop Dogg’s F*cn Around Comedy Special as part of its Netflix is a Joke Festival.

Day Shift is set to release on Netflix on August 12. Will you be tuning in?
