Veteran R&B crooner Chris Brown and R&B legend Anita Baker surprised Usher for his 44th birthday during the latest My Way Las Vegas Residency show.
In an epic moment in R&B history, Chris and Anita surprised Usher by joining him onstage during his Oct. 14 show. That evening, the two wished him a happy 44th, and Anita even sang “Happy Birthday.”
“The icon Anita Baker!” Usher gushed about the Detroit native via Instagram on Oct. 15. “My favorite auntie, thank you for this surprise bday moment. You got me!”

Usher’s good friend and former collaborator, superproducer Jermaine Dupri, was also a surprise guest at his show. Other special guests that made an appearance at his residency over the past few weeks include actress Taraji P. Henson, legendary singer Tevin Campbell, legendary producer Babyface and more.
Following his latest show, Usher continued the birthday celebration at NoMad Library with Dupri and producer Bryan Michael Cox serving as the party’s DJs. Attendees included champion boxer Floyd Mayweather, producer Polow Da Don, record producer and songwriter Keith Thomas, and songwriter Johntá Austin among others. Later, the festivities were relocated to Floyd’s skating rink Skate Rock City where the birthday boy and his guests enjoyed a night of skating.
The first leg of the My Way Residency, which has been sold out every day since it began, reportedly ends on Oct. 29. The second leg is set to kick off at the exact location, Dolby Live at Park MGM, on Mar. 3.
“I wanted to offer something that’s just about joy and fun,” he told TODAY in September.
