Music industry veteran Brandy brought the house down at the 2022 BET Awards after rocking the mic during Jack Harlow’s performance on Sunday night.
The Queens actress surprised the crowd who took to their feet when the songstress graced the stage in a metal-colored denim catsuit, black patent leather crop jacket, thigh-high stiletto boots and beat and hair for the Gawds. Brandy showcased her hyped freestyle over Jack’s hit “First Class.”
She posted her jaw-dropping performance on Instagram. The video also showed a fully-engaged audience. Brandy also expressed that she felt “loved and appreciated.”
“This was a magical night. I felt so loved and appreciated by @jackharlow and his wonderful team ♥️ I haven’t been to the bet awards in a VERY long, and it’s my dream to earn one. Thank y’all for embracing me like family. And the crowd for making me feel #firstclass,” she wrote.
The “What About Us” singer also thanked her manager, Ryan Ramsey, for being her rider and getting her on the BET Awards.

In May, Jack caught heat after his appearance on Hot 97 for not knowing who the OG singer was. The rapper thought she was deceased singer Aaliyah.
The show’s hosts tried to throw the desperate emcee a line, but he still didn’t get it. He found out, though.
Brandy, in jest, brought the smoke in a freestyle over “First Class.” The bop went viral.
The Moesha star’s flawless flow in her signature raspy, alto voice hit hard.
