Usher Dragged After Giving Exotic Dancers ‘Usher Bucks’ With His Face On Them

On Sunday, an exotic dancer attempted to expose Usher for not tipping her with real money, but rather with fake “Usher Bucks” that featured his face on the bills. After being dragged online, his rep spoke out, saying that he did, in fact, spend money at the strip club and only used the “Usher Bucks” to promote his new Las Vegas residency.

The drama began when The Shade Room posted a screenshot of the Las Vegas dancer’s Instagram Story. She implied that the “Nice & Slow” singer didn’t pay her with real cash, but used fake money with his face and name on them instead. Showing the $1, $20, and $100 bills,” she

asked, “Ladies, what would you do if you danced all night and he threw this?”

She continued in another post, “[And] the money does not have any trade-in value whatsoever! LMAO. Don’t y’all think he should be blasted for this s**t?”

Social media instantly dragged the R&B singer for not using real cash to tip the exotic dancers, with some accusing him of being broke and corny. Others couldn’t resist a good joke, and dubbed the fake currency “Usher Bucks.”

Usher throwing fake money at a strip club? To hard-working women?” one fan tweeted.

Another fan joked, “Usher went broke and made his own currency, a man with a plan.”

However, when word got around to Usher and his camp, they spoke with TMZ to set the record straight. Apparently, the “Love In This Club” singer actually spent thousands of real dollars on the exotic dancers at the Las Vegas strip club.

When he left, TMZ reports, someone in his crew allegedly left some “Usher Bucks” on stage to help promote his new residency in Las Vegas. He posted a picture on his Instagram earlier this month of himself posing next to a suitcase filled with “Usher Bucks.”

It still begs the question– did old girl get her paper or, Nah?
