Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Yaya Mayweather, has been sentenced to six years of probation for allegedly stabbing a woman at NBA YoungBoy’s home in 2020.

According to ABC13, Yaya, whose real name is Iyanna Mayweather, received six years probation for stabbing Lapattra Lashai Jacobs on Apr. 4, 2020. To avoid jail time, she’ll have to abide by the following rules: she cannot commit any offenses nor use or possess any illegal drug or prescription drugs that are not currently prescribed by a medical professional. She must also report to a supervising officer, work a suitable employment and/or attend school full-time, remain within Harris County or any counties directly touching Harris County, and cannot travel outside the location unless given permission to travel.

, Yaya pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on Oct. 17 for stabbing Lapattra in Cypress, Texas. The then-19-year-old teen reportedly stabbed the victim after finding the young woman in her fiancé, Louisiana rapper, YoungBoy’s home. Upon discovering Lapattra in the musician’s home, a fight ensued and Yaya attacked her with two knives. The victim was stabbed in the arm multiple times and when Paramedics arrived at the scene, she was found laying on the floor. She was then rushed to a local hospital and Yaya was arrested for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The boxing champion’s daughter told the authorities that Lapattra “triggered” her by pulling her hair before heading into the kitchen, where the stabbing occurred. As part of her plea agreement, she received Deferred Adjudication of Guilt probation–a type of judge-ordered probation–which enables her to accept full responsibility for the crime without having a conviction placed on her record.

The now-22-year-old’s lawyer, Kent A. Schaffer, discussed the plea deal in April.

“We resolved the case by entering into an agreement with the state whereby Iyanna will not go to prison or have a felony conviction if she stays out of trouble for the next six years,” he said. “At the two-year mark, she can apply for early termination of that agreement, assuming that she has met all conditions of the court.”
