Tiffany Haddish is not satisfied with comments made by her ex-boyfriend, Common, about their recent breakup. The actress and comedian noted her disappointment while appearing on Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored with Jason Lee on FOX SOUL.
The actress and musician broke up recently after dating for more than a year. Common reportedly said the couple broke up because neither person was feeding the relationship due to being busy with their careers. Haddish told Lee that she was disappointed in his comments.
“I was disappointed,” said Haddish. “I was very disappointed. I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘Cause that’s not what you told me, but OK.'”
The Here Today actress also questioned Common’s ability to settle down and compared him to a bumblebee going from flower to flower.
“He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody, maybe he’s like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower. I don’t know.
While Haddish may be disappointed by her breakup, she also said it was an opportunity.
“It’s gonna be a new opportunity,” said Haddish. “I miss him. I miss him from time to time, but that’s with, I think, any intimate relationship that you might have, you miss them. But I’m fine with it. It’s cool.”
In the meantime, Haddish is making moves and has suggested a new genre for stand-up comedians; couture comedy shows. The comedian shared some pictures of her set at the Laugh Factory in September, and she is dressed to impress.
“It’s time to take comedy back up a notch @laughfactoryhw. I want to do couture comedy shows where we get dressed up and put on a real show. What do you think @luxurylaw? I think about the times we are in and when people come out to see me they should get their whole money’s worth and they too should be able to dress up and feel beautiful if they want to. @christopherjohnrogers oh and @lizvig you can take my picture anytime #QueenoftheLaughFactory #CoutreComedy #highfashioncomedy #SHEREADY!”

As for her relationship with Common, Haddish said she misses the rapper but wishes him the best.
“I wish him nothing but joy and happiness, you know,” she said. “He will always be cool.”
