Tamar Braxton speaks out following the passing of her older sister Traci Braxton.
As Sis2Sis previously reported, Traci, 50, passed away on March 11 from a year-long battle with cancer.
On Monday, the singer and reality star took to Instagram and shared a post, writing, “My Dear Traci, come back.💔.”

Traci’s son, Kevin Surratt Jr., shared the heartbreaking news on his Instagram account.
“When I heard the news about my mother being sick, first thing she said was I’m going to fight and beat this. She fought to the end, and today she’s at peace,” Kevin wrote. “I love my mother forever, and this hurts so much, but I’m at peace knowing she’s isn’t in pain anymore. I love you, ma. I’m going to miss you.”

The 50-year-old’s husband, Kevin Surratt Sr., posted a heartfelt message on Sunday to his loving wife. The couple has been married for 25 years.

Traci’s older sister, Toni Braxton, made a statement on behalf of the family shortly after receiving the news. The 54-year-old singer shared a profound message with her fans on social media.
“It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci. Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly,” she wrote.
“Traci passed this morning as the snow was falling. Our angel is now a snowflake. We ask that you respect our privacy as we plan to send her home with love, celebrating her life.”
