Nick Cannon confirmed that he is going to be a father again. The proud papa announced the news on his talk show, Nick Cannon, on Jan. 31.

Cannon has already had seven children with four different women, and several of the women gave birth within the same year. Alyssa Scott is still mourning the loss of her son, Zen, who was only five months old when he died in December of brain cancer.

Rumors that Cannon was having another child began over the weekend after pictures of him with realtor Bre Tiesi at a gender reveal party in Malibu circulated

the internet. Cannon cuddled the real estate agent, and her belly as blue confetti and balloons revealed the couple is having a baby boy.

Cannon had not previously indicated he was in a relationship and recently said he was practicing celibacy during an episode of the podcast Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. He also discussed his intimacy issues on an episode of his talk show. Of course, folks had their opinions on Canon’s compulsion to spread his seed with yet another woman, the fifth to be exact.

Some Twitter users wondered if anyone was thinking about the children and the fact that they would be raised in so many single households. Others asked if he actually dated the women he’s impregnated since his divorce from singer Mariah Carey. They also wondered about his mental health.

Cannon shares 11-year-old twin daughters with Carey, Moroccan and Monroe. He also has two children with Brittany Bell, a five-year-old son named Golden and a daughter, Powerfull, born in December of 2020. Cannon also had twins with Abby De La Rosa, sons Zion and Zillion, born in June of 2021. Scott also gave birth to the entertainer’s son, Zen, one week later.

Scott posted a message on Instagram upon hearing the news noting that she would not judge Cannon. She also wrote that she was at peace and thankful to have had Zen as long as she did while surrounded by the love of her family.

Cannon added that he knew about the pregnancy while Zen was ill, and he struggled the when the right time would be to make the pregnancy announcement. Congratulations to Cannon and Tiesi.
