After recently announcing her split from former husband DeVon Franklin, 43, Meagan Good, 40, reflected on 2021 and appeared optimistic for the New Year.
The Harlem star took to Instagram and posted a series of photos wearing a bright green floral wrap while donning flowers in her hair, HNHH reported.
She wrote in the caption, “2021.. You brought me the highest, life-changing affirming highs, and the lowest, gut-wrenching soul-breaking lows,” the captions read. “Although I’m still grieving, I’m also in glorious awe and thankfulness to you, God… 2021, all endings are also beginnings, so goodbye, m’dear,” the 40-year-old continued. “2022, can’t wait to see what the beginnings of this next act of life brings. Lord, I trust you.”

While she turned off comments on her page, Good has received over 300,000 likes after posting the gorgeous snapshots. The previous post was a photo of her and her soon-to-be ex-husband Franklin as she announced their pending divorce. “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected,” she told her followers.
The photo captured the former couple sitting outside overlooking the greenery while holding each other “We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault. We believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love. We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”

When the news surfaced that the former couple’s nine-year marriage was ending, Good expressed gratitude and said her marriage to the motivational speaker was a blessing, Sis2Sis reported.
“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
A source revealed to People magazine that the star’s separation was “a long time coming,” adding that “they just haven’t been spending a lot of time together this past year.”
Franklin initiated the separation in August 2021, and the divorce is reportedly moving along quickly.
