UPDATE: Gorilla Glue Girl Tessica Brown Has Stem Cell Therapy In California

Gorilla Glue girl Tessica Brown received stem cell therapy in Pasadena, California, on Dec. 8 after suffering another hair mishap. Brown had the treatment at the La Fue Hair Clinic.

Specialist Jacques Abrahamian and Dr. G. Kevork Abrahamian used stem cells and platelet-rich plasma therapy combined to treat Brown’s scalp.

Brown’s procedure is meant to decrease shedding and promote new hair growth. Jacques Abrahamian said that Brown should notice benefits in six to nine months.

“We mix the PRP and the stem cells, and we inject it using a very fine needle to the areas that have been damaged.”

Brown’s first mishap occurred when she used Gorilla Glue spray instead of hair spray. Video of Brown’s blunder went viral and received more than two million views.

“Ok y’all I’m going to repost everyone who tags me in their #mahairdancechallenge #mahairchallenge #tessicabrown #mahair.”

Despite washing her hair multiple times, it remained rock hard. Plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng was able to save her hair with a secret solution and surgery.

Having recovered from the Gorilla Glue debacle, Brown went viral again after she posted a video of her hair falling out in clumps. Thinking her hair was strong enough for chemicals, she dyed it only to have clumps fall out as she combed it.

“My hair is steady coming out as I’m rinsing my hair….it falls out in clumps…it’s like it’s melted,” she said.

The clinic recommended that Brown use organic dye the next time she wants to dye her grays.

Stem cell therapy treatments can cost up to $6000. Brown is hoping that her treatment worked.

“I’m just praying that it works,” she said.

We are too, Sis!
