Rapper Desiigner quits rap after discovering his friend Takeoff was murdered.
As previously reported by Sis2Sis, the beloved Atlanta rapper Takeoff, 28, was fatally shot at a bowling alley in downtown Houston on November 1.
TMZ shared video footage of the incident where rapper Quavo, Takeoff’s uncle, was seen arguing with a group before the shooting began and yelling for help afterward.
Since the tragic incident, the hip-hop community has been expressing condolences to the family, fans, and friends of Takeoff.
“Panda” rapper Desiigner, took to Instagram live to grieve the loss of his dear friend, Takeoff. Through agonizing tears, he announced that he would no longer continue his rap career.
“This version of me is done…can’t live life like this,” he said.

Although Offset and Quavo have yet to make a public announcement, Offset changed his Instagram profile picture to a picture of his late cousin.
