Singer Tyrese recently celebrated his oldest daughter’s middle school graduation by gifting her a Rolls-Royce.
The Baby Boy actor did not attend his daughter Shayla’s graduation but made it clear he was sorry to not share the accomplishment with her in person. The 14-year-old will now go off to high school in style.
Tyrese shared a video tour of the surprise Rolls Royce Ghost topped off with balloons spelling out her name. He even included a slideshow of them sharing memories together.
He wrote on Instagram, “I feel horrible as a father that I missed this one of a kind moment but it’s very very clear that my daughter felt all that love that I arranged from London……. Thank you, Momma Norma, for being there…. Funny that you’re in my country, and I’m in yours; lol, congratulations to our angel SHAYLA [ Princess ] Gibson you did it baby you have made daddy sooooooo proud!!!!!”

This exciting achievement comes a few months after a personal tragedy.

Tyrese took to Instagram to alert fans after she was hospitalized from complications of COVID-19.
He wrote, “On behalf of my family and everyone who ever spent any time praying tor my mother This is the saddest moment of my life………. My sweet Valentine just passed away….. May the Lord Jesus Christ and his angels open the doors of heavens and embrace her………. We as a family are broken and just can’t believe this……. May the Lord Jesus Christ honor your walk with him and embrace you into the heavens……. From here on I ask that you HOLD MY HAND, MOTHER, and never let my hand go………. Like you held my hand as a child, and a teen never let my hand go, mother…..”
