Tyler Perry resurrected Madea to give a hilarious review of Kim Kardashian’s look at this year’s Met Gala.
Kardashian sparked chatter when she showed up to the Met Gala covered from head to toe. Everyone from fans to celebrities has commented on the grim reaper look. The latest critic is Perry through his iconic character, Madea.
In the clip, Madea claimed she was done with Kardashian because she stole her look.
“I’m not talking to Kardashenen no more. See, I knew something was wrong. This why I can’t mess with her, that Kim,” the character said.
“She gon’ ask me ‘what you wearing?’ And I told her what I was wearing, and I described it to her and everything,” Perry continued. “She said, ‘oh, wow. That’s hot.’ Right! And then you know what she did? Stole what I was gon’ d-mn put on.”

The video started with an image of Kardashian in the outfit and ended with a mockup of Madea in a similar costume. It was a hot mess in the best way, and it’s a shame the gun-toting granny didn’t get a chance to show it off.
Kardashian’s look was created by Balenciaga, according to Us Magazine. Demna Gvasalia, the fashion house’s creative director, joined her at the Met Gala. He also sported a blackout look.
After people spent too much time debating the meaning of her outfit, Kardashian shared her inspiration on Instagram.
“What’s more American than a T-shirt head to toe?!” she wrote.

Kardashian has not responded to Madea’s grievances. Perry’s video was unexpected since he famously retired Madea last year after generating $2 billion through movies and stage plays. The media mogul previously told Level Magazine he did not enjoy portraying Madea.
“It was never something I enjoyed doing,” Perry admitted. “My hand to God. I hated the costume, the wig, all of it.”
