The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15’s premiere kicked off Sunday night with a bang, and Twitter went up.

A lot went down in the first episode, from Kandi Burruss and Shereé Whitfield’s beef to the cheating rumors circulating about Shereé’s new beau Martell Holt from Love & Marriage: Huntsville.

Additionally, we got a glimpse into the new cast members, R&B singer Ne-Yo’s ex Monyetta Shaw-Carter and Shereé’s friend Courtney Rhodes.

Since Monyetta made her debut as an RHOA member, viewers have taken kindly to the “Bigger Than Me” actor, especially since she was the one who set RHOA OG Kenya Moore up with her wealthy boyfriend, Roi Shlomo. She briefly appeared on the reality show last season.

Unfortunately, Courtney didn’t rub viewers the right way after she stirred trouble with the RHOA queen, Kandi, at Sanya Richards-Ross’ Harlem Nights party for her husband, Aaron Ross — for no reason.

She embarrassingly accused Kandi of telling people Courtney claimed they were friends. Kandi clarified that she asked people if they knew her because she didn’t.

Courtney got all worked up, crying about not saying she and Kandi were friends. It was a petty and confusing argument and left

a bad taste in viewers’ mouths.

Different things added fuel to the fire between Kandi and Shereé. One of them was the spoof the Xscape member did, mocking Shereé’s “click bait” moment.

The other was when Kandi called Martell an “opportunist” in an interview. The recently Emmy-nominated star tried to warn Shereé about him, but she took it as Kandi throwing shade. However, almost all of Shereé’s castmates tried warning her about the cheating rumors regarding Martell because they didn’t want her making the same dating mistakes as she did with Tyrone, the criminal.

Kenya joked in a confessional that the 53-year-old needed her own show titled, Watch Me Date These Dumb Dudes.

Kandi also joked about her castmate’s dating choices, referring to Martell as “community property” in her confessional because of the cheating accusations.

“Last year, Shereé was with Mr. Community Service. This year, she’s with community property,” she said.

Shereé claimed in her confessional that if Martell was cheating on her, he was downgrading to a “Toyota” and referred to herself as a Ferrari. But fans couldn’t help but clown the Ohio native for her choice of men.

It’s safe to say that Shereé caught wind of Kandi’s confessional where she called Martell “community property” because she took to Twitter and wrote, “Community service….community property….you should know former community puss.”

Toward the end of the episode, Marlo Hampton told Shereé at the party that Martell slid into her DMs. Shereé called Martell over to address the claims, causing a heated argument between him and Marlo, which will pick back up in the next episode. New episodes come on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
