Twitter Reacts To Eve & Brandy’s Epic ‘Queens’ Rap Battle Featuring Iconic Hip-Hop Beats

The actresses freestyled over Cam'Ron's "Oh Boy" and Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm."

On the latest episode of Queens, Eve and Brandy went head-to-head in a battle for the ages, rapping over iconic hip-hop beats like Cam’Ron’s 2002 hit “Oh Boy” and Mobb Deep’s famous Lil’ Kim collaboration “Quiet Storm.” Fans instantly went up for the epic scene on social media and placed their stakes in who indeed won the femcee faceoff.

Resolving their conflict through music, Brandy and Eve, who portray the rappers Xplicit Lyrics and Professor Sex on the new ABC series, threw jabs at each other while freestyling over the classic beats. And while the “I Wanna Be Down” singer doesn’t have considerable background in the rap genre, many fans agreed that she held her own.

Okay, but watching #QueensABC got me needing/craving a Brandy rap album ft Eve k thanks bye,” one fan

wrote on Twitter.

Others were #TeamEve during the Queens episode, with another fan tweeting, “This lil rap cipher….Now….Brandy ATE!…… But my girl Eve ate more…. #QueensOnABC,”
