As the fallout over Will Smith smacking fire from Chris Rock during the live broadcast of the Oscars continues, white folks have now entered the arena of giving their unseasoned and unsolicited opinions on the matter.
On Wednesday, Amy Schumer cried white tears on Instagram. She even centered her new series on Hulu while rambling about being “triggered and traumatized” to her fans on the social media platform.
In a now-deleted post, she wrote, “I think we can all agree that the best way to unpack what happened is to stream my series @lifeandbethhulu and see me on tour this fall,” she initially joked.
“But for real. Still triggered and traumatized. I love my friend @chrisrock and believe he handled it like a pro. Stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend @questlove, and the whole thing was so disturbing. So much pain in @willsmith anyway. I’m still in shock and stunned, and sad. I’m proud of myself and my cohosts. But yeah. Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed.”
Schumer, who presented the Oscars with Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, apparently was not prepared for the smoke she received after the commentary went viral. The 40-year-old quickly realized that she should have probably minded her business.

One Twitter user quickly reminded the public of Schumer lying on Black and other men of color catcalling her in the streets. She even added AAVE as if it validated her ludicrous claim.

In 2016, Schumer also reportedly outed herself as a rapist.
“I used to sleep with mostly Hispanic guys — but now I prefer consensual,” she reportedly said during her 2013 comedy special Women Who Kill.
Schumer also joked about having a thing for Black men, referencing Spike Lee’s 1990 film Jungle Fever, saying, “I love black and white movies!”
She walked back from her rapey comment with a now-deleted tweet, “I am taking responsibility and hope I haven’t hurt anyone. And I apologize if I did.”
Schumer wasn’t aware of the wrath of Black Twitter. She f**ked around and found out.
