Tristan Thompson Still Hasn’t Met His 6-Month-Old Son Yet, Sources Say

NBA star Tristan Thompson allegedly still hasn’t met his six-month-old son Theo yet, sources close to the child’s mother, fitness model Maralee Nichols, said.

Sources close to Maralee claimed that Tristan hadn’t made any plans to see their child.

“Tristan is very absent from Theo’s life. He hasn’t met Theo, nor has he initiated any meetings,” one insider revealed. “He doesn’t have any immediate plans to meet his son face to face.”

The unnamed source added that the 31-year-old also hadn’t been financially supporting his baby boy.

“He hasn’t been in communication with Maralee and hasn’t sent her any money for child support to date. This aspect hasn’t legally been resolved yet,” the insider said.

The Houston native reportedly sued Thompson for child support back in December 2021 after confirming that she gave birth. Then, in January, the baller confirmed his paternity via Instagram stories and issued an apology to media personality Khloe Kardashian whom he was still dating at the time. He and Khloe share four-year-old daughter, True Thompson.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established. I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal, both publicly and privately,” he wrote in the IG stories post.

However, this isn’t the first time that Maralee has complained about Tristan’s absence. In February, she released a statement saying he wasn’t in her then two-month-old’s life.

“Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance,” her rep, Harvey Englander, said.

The power forward fathers another son, five-year-old Prince, with social media influencer Jordan Craig along with his daughter True and his baby Theo. He was last seen posted up with fellow Canadian, Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake on Instagram.

Tristan appeared in the musician’s latest music video “Falling Back” from Drizzy surprise album Honestly Nevermind.
