Canadian rapper Tory Lanez claims that he was framed for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Lanez was accused of shooting the female rapper in the foot last year, according to CNN.
The shooting happened in July last year in Hollywood Hills. Stallion said that Lanez shot at her feet as she exited an SUV following an argument. Lanez was charged with personal use of a firearm, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty.
The balding rapper appeared on Funk Flex’s Hot 97 freestyle series when he made the frame claim per The Neighborhood Talk.
“Shoutout to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby / What I’m about to say is gonna sound a little crazy / But it’s true so don’t play me / Y’all all would’ve got your awards if they didn’t frame me.”

Not only does the freestyle claim that he was framed, Lanez also called out Stallion for winning an award at the 2021 BET Awards. He implied that she only won due to the sympathy she garnered for being shot.
Lanez also called out Stallion in his song “Money Over Fallouts.”
“Megan, people tryin’ to frame me for a shootin/Gotta see a couple questions/how the f**k you get shot in yo foot it don’t hit no bones or tendons? How the f**k is your team tryna’ pay me in millions?”
Meanwhile, it would appear that Stallion is too busy to be bothered by Lanez and his freestyle accusations. As Sister 2 Sister reported, she recently appeared as the first rapper on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She also has a swimsuit collection with Fashion Nova. Stallion wore several of the swimsuits for the Sports Illustrated magazine shoot.
Lanez was denied the right to speak publicly about the shooting by a judge back in February. We’ll keep you posted on any new developments.
