Rapper Tory Lanez tried to put an end to the mockery of his bald spot by revealing on Twitter that he, too, has alopecia. It went left.
“I’m fully aware of the bald spot in the back of my head, guys,” Lanez’s tweet began, followed by a laughing-crying emoji. “I rap about it all the time …it’s alopecia… What’s the big deal.”

Alopecia has been a trending topic after speculation that Will Smith slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars after making a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head circulated online.
In 2018, the actress told the world about suffering from hair loss during a Red Table Talk discussion.
“Well, I’ve been having issues with hair loss,” Pinkett Smith said. “It was terrifying when it first started. I was in the shower one day and then just handfuls of hair just in my hands.”
And now, Lanez is hopping on the alopecia train.
Unlike Pinkett Smith, Lanez did not get the support he thought he’d get. Twitter users gave the rapper the side-eye in the comment section.
It’s not alopecia it’s karma for shooting Megan

Whether or not Lanez was attempting to garner sympathy remains to be seen, but the Canadian emcee suffers from androgenetic alopecia – commonly known as “male-patterned baldness.” In 2021, he opened up about losing his hair in his twenties. The “Say It” rapper even had hair replacement surgery by a Los Angeles physician. Lanez’s projection is unwarranted because a 2016 study revealed almost 80% of women like men with bald heads.
Anyway, it appears that the consensus for Lanez’s patchy hair growth is karma for being trash.
