“I guess this is happening,” Roker wrote in an Instagram post. “Taking the last one to college. So proud of one @nickroker155.”
Roberts posted photos of the packing process, revealing college drop-offs are still a hard thing to do no matter how many times.
“Monday mood,” she captioned the post. “Trying to wrap my mind around this thing called college drop off….again.”
She also posted a photo of them before they hit the road.

” This is really happening,” Roberts posted on Twitter. “Our youngest is heading off to college. The journey continues!”
She uploaded the same photo on Instagram and expressed her pride in Nick.
“Wednesday wonder,” she posted. “After all the hard work. All the discipline. All the dreaming. All the prayers. His moment to soar has come. (I’m not crying. I promise). Pride doesn’t even begin to describe this day Nick Roker. The journey continues.”
Nick graduated from Aaron School, a private school for students with learning disabilities.
This isn’t the only time Roker and Roberts publicly spoke about how proud Nick made them. During the summer, Nick made a speech at his church about how he overcame his struggles and graduated with all A’s on his latest report card.
When the two arrived back home, they went on social media to share how they felt about the new chapter of their lives.

“Just drove back from dropping Nick off at college,” the TODAY show co-host posted. “I miss that kid but so proud of him. And to shake off the 3+ hour drive, I got my steps in for our @todayshow. If you see me crying in the park, just wave.”
Roberts posted, “Thursday thoughts. Life is all about new chapters. New journeys. I don’t like change much. But it’s the one certainty of life. So, here’s to embracing and accepting the new moments in life.”
