Tina Lawson, famously known as Beyonce Knowles’ mother, shared a heartfelt video of her daughter and son-in-law, Grammy Award-winning rapper and businessman Jay-Z, on their 14th wedding anniversary.
Tina uploaded the video to her Instagram page on Apr. 5, captioning how much she admired the couple.
“Happy Anniversary to one of my inspirations for a couple!” she wrote. “They work hard, laugh hard, and Love harder. 14 years.”

Beyonce and Jay, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, wed in 2008 after dating for many years. Although neither party publicly stated when exactly they became official, the “Be Alive” singer gave a hint during an old interview with Seventeen.
“I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we first started dating,” she told the magazine. “There was no rush—no one expected me to run off and get married.”
In 2002, they released their first musical collaboration together titled “’03 Bonnie & Clyde.” The following year, in 2003, they released their second “Crazy In Love,” which topped the Billboard charts for eight weeks. The song was named the “Best R&B Song” and “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” at the 2004 Grammy Awards.
Nearly two decades later, it also ranked No. 16 on Rolling Stone’s 500 greatest songs in 2021.
In 2012, Beyonce and Jay had their first child, Blu Ivy, together, and then in 2017, they welcomed their twins, Sir and Rumi Carter.
The famous couple’s star power has continuously made an impact both inside and outside the music industry, which was exemplified in their recent campaign for luxury goods company Tiffany & Co.
The “About Love” campaign depicted the pair in chic outfits featuring Tiffany’s most expensive items. One of the items was a famous 128-carat diamond necklace that Golden Globe Award-winning actress Audrey Hepburn originally wore in press photos for Breakfast At Tiffany’s (1961).
Most recently, Beyonce was seen making a riveting performance for her latest song at the 2022 Oscars.
Jay recently went viral on social media for his hard-hitting lyrics in his new song with Virginia rap legend Pusha T, titled “Neck & Wrist.”
