Comedian Tiffany Haddish corrected fans who believed she was “spiraling” following her DUI arrest in an Instagram Live session shared by Live Bitez.

As the actress enjoyed her getaway trip in Maui, the Girls Trip star took to her Instagram to shut down rumors of her “spiraling.”

“I got nothing but love for all of you,” she said in the video while flaunting the view from her temporary vacation abode. “Even the people that think I’m spiraling out. Ain’t no spiral here, honey. Just some cleaning. God’s cleaning house and woke me up. It’s time to wake up. She woke! Ooo, she woke! And it feels so good!”

After showing the gorgeous view from the balcony, she exclaimed, “New boundaries. New limits. No longer helping those that don’t help themselves. No more being nice. No more trying to help.”

She added that she would adopt her grandmother’s ways of not helping others.

The comedian faced two DUI situations—one in Georgia in January 2022 and, most recently, in November 2023 in California.

With the November arrest, California police responded to a call about Haddish slumping over her steering wheel. Beverly Hills police suspected she was under the influence. In the Georgia DUI case, she was reportedly asleep behind the wheel. In response, prosecutors requested that Haddish be subjected to drug and alcohol tests randomly, MadameNoire reported

On Dec. 16, the 44-year-old posted her acting a fool on a Hawaiian beach.

“I Love being silly on the black sand beach. I have always wanted to do a swimsuit photo shoot. This silly one will do for now,” the 44-year-old wrote in the post’s caption.

Instead of people viewing it as her having fun, they assumed she needed help and was “spiraling.”

“Go get some therapy.”

“What kind of drugs you on?”

“I can see the addiction on her.”

“Manic Depression is a real thing…no hate just looks like she needs a little help.”

“I know a cry for help when I see it.”
