In the video, the Sister, Sister alum, strutted in black open-toed heels, wearing a black bathing suit and jacket. Mowry danced to the track “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus inside her house and backyard, writing over the video, reading, “POV: Just being and loving yourself is the flex.”
From eating strawberries to sipping wine, Mowry appeared to enjoy her singleness after filing for divorce from her ex-husband Cory Hardrict, writing in the caption, “Happy freaking Valentine’s Day!”
While receiving approval from many women, Instagram’s male users had to poison her comment section by claiming she was hiding her pain.
“So, women are masking hurt on social media by acting overly happy or using Tik Tok as a therapy method,” one clueless user wrote.
“So, being all alone is a flex now? Smfh women,” another miserable commenter said.
“Cry for help. This was rough to watch,” a male commenter pretending to be a psychologist said.
Many men accused the actress of pretending to be ok while the ladies cheered her on, giving her the flowers she deserved. One user wrote how it’s mainly men claiming she’s not happy, knowing it’s all because they don’t have a chance with her.
“Ladies, are you noticing only the guys are in their feelings commenting about how Tia is lonely and how sad this is? This woman is living her best life with joy, and if she’s single right now, it’s because she wants to be,” the comment read. “(Lord knows plenty of dudes would love to take her out) None of the guys with these ridiculous comments have a snowballs chance in h£|| with her, so they make negative comments to make themselves feel better. Go Tia! Enjoy yourself girl! We love you!”
Mowry responded with, “I pay no mind to the male chauvinist. They just mad, unhappy, and using projection. They have NO place here. We will NOT be controlled.”
On Feb. 10, Mowry tweeted, “I know love will find me again,” which commenters encouraged her she would.
I know love will find me again. 🫶🏽
