Tia Mowry and Cory Hardict are officially divorced!
Mowry, 44, and Hardict, 43, ended their 15-year marriage on Monday, April 24. According to Us Weekly, court documents read the former couple “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.”
The Sister, Sister star and Never Been Kissed actor agreed in their divorce arrangement to joint physical custody of their 11-year-old son Cree and 4-year-old daughter Cairo.
Mowry and Hardict first met on the set of the 1999 indie film Hollywood Horror. Hardict recalled in a Q&A session on Mowry’s YouTube Channel, Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix, that their friendship started when she and her sister, Tamara, offered Hardict a ride home in Englewood, California.
Mowry added that they were solely friends for a year before dating.
Hardict asked Mowry to marry him on Christmas day in 2006. They officially tied the knot in 2008.
Last year, Mowry announced on Instagram that she and her ex-husband decided to separate but maintain a friendship.
“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” her statement read. “We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

A month after the separation announcement, the Twitches actress revealed in an interview with TODAY that there was a point where she knew her marriage was over.
“I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness,” she shared. “I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK–meaning our children, our friends, our family.
Mowry filed for divorce and asked the judge to drop spousal support. The two were in a prenuptial agreement during the duration of their marriage.
