Things got steamy during The View‘s latest episode after co-host Whoopi Goldberg gave Sunny Hostin a lap dance.
In a clip posted on Twitter, The View hosts Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin discussed a sample that surveyed 6,000 Americans to see if they have cheated at a bachelor or bachelorette party. The results found 70 percent of those surveyed cheated at the parties.
Hostin weighed in on her changing her mind about lap dancing being counted as cheating. But when she revealed she had never seen or received one, Goldberg stood from her seat and offered to show her.
“First, I start…I’m looking at you,” Goldberg stated while wiggling around. The camera panned to show Haines recording the moment on her phone. “And then I start to turn.”
Goldberg turned and began to wiggle her behind on Hostin’s lap, causing her to laugh.
“And then it’s me going down…” Goldberg lowered to the ground, earning praise from the co-hosts and audience.
Navarro clarified that the lap dances occurred with a lot less clothing.
After the dance, Hostin stood firm that lap dances counted as cheating. Navarro said if “he’s getting a lap dance, I’m getting one from Michael B. Jordan.”
“I tend to think that cheating would be some form of like hooking up, making out,” Haines commented.
The co-hosts agreed that the exchange of bodily fluids constituted cheating.
“It’s mind stuff that makes the cheating, I think,” Goldberg cut in. “When people start cheating on the internet with somebody, they’ve shared emotions. To me, that’s cheating.”
Haines added, “If you feel the need to get it out of your system one more time, maybe you’re not ready for this.”
