A February 20 episode of NBC’s The Today Show has sparked hilarious debates over laundry habits. The group of hosts Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones’ argument hit on how often they wear jeans before a wash, wear the same pajamas to bed, and even how much the human body sweats.
The segment began with Roker asking, “How often do you wear your clothes before washing them?” With shocked disdain, Melvin expressed confusion that it was even a question. Jones answered by explaining that she wears jeans multiple times before washing them and Dreyer explained that since she showers at night, she even wears her pajamas three nights in a row.
“Three nights?” Melvin clamored, “There are dead skin cells.” He offered an explanation for why putting dirty clothes on after getting physically clean. Roker added that people sweat a cup of fluid every night on average. Jones brought the debate to a head by confessing that she falls asleep in her outside clothes when she’s particularly tired, and everyone agrees that it’s gross.
Roker expertly ended the rowdy segment, “The rule is anything that comes in contact with your skin, remove them. Man, you think you know people, and you start talking to them about stuff…Y’all are just…ugh.”

It’s not a true 9-5 job if you aren’t at least slightly repulsed by your coworkers habits? ✨ pic.twitter.com/YMioE5044A

I’m interested in who is doing the laundry in these households. My guess is that Al and Craig are not.
