The Lox & Dipset To Go Head-To-Head In Upcoming Verzuz Battle

On Wednesday Verzuz announced that The Lox and Dipset will be featured in an upcoming battle, set to go down on August 3 in Madison Square Garden. Both featured guests being prominent hip-hop groups based in New York, fans instantly started going up for the news on social media, and sharing their thoughts on who would ultimately take home the crown.

“NYC stand up this one is for the history books!!! THE LOX vs DIPSET. TUESDAY, AUGUST 3RD LIVE from @hulutheatermsg!!” Verzuz announced on their official Instagram page, adding that tickets to the live event will be available for online purchase on Thursday, July 15.

Sharing a throwback picture, one fan tweeted about the upcoming event, “Only 2000s fits for this Dipset vs Lox battle,”

Refusing to choose a team, another fan wrote on Twitter, “I’m not picking sides in Dipset vs lox. absolutely not.”

Others made it clear who they thought would come out victorious, with one person writing, “The Lox winning, btw. And I’m a Dipset stan,”

“LOX not beating Dipset in a Verzuz. Like at all. G-Unit would’ve been a better matchup. Imagine Kiss doing Checkmate in front of 50. That’d be crazy,” another person tweeted, placing their faith in Cam’Ron and the rest of the Dipset crew.
