Fans criticized the Game after publicly claiming he dated and later cheated on veteran R&B singer Mýa.
The L.A. rapper touched on his past relationship with Mýa during an interview with Carl Anthony Lamarre on CEEK’s The Debut Live. In it, he shared that the entire thing went sour after he allegedly cheated on her with his future children’s mother, Tiffney Cambridge.
“We were supposed to spend Valentine’s Day together in Miami,” he said about allegedly having to spend a holiday with Mýa. “On that day, I pulled up on my baby momma, we didn’t have [any] kids yet. I’m in my Bentley, and she was in a Benz, and she looked good, [I] looked good, and we kicked it with each other on Valentine’s Day.”
He continued, saying that when the singer found out, she “dumped the f**k” out of him and allegedly flew to his L.A. home for closure–with her dad.
“She didn’t just dump me. She brought her daddy to my house in L.A. They flew here to talk to me, and I had to explain to Mýa why I broke her heart and give her closure and yeah, that was it,” The Game recalled.
He added that Mýa’s dad was unsure about him from the jump, as the rapper called her an “R&B b***h” in his song “Dreams” (2005). Mýa was featured in the video which, apparently, didn’t make her father too happy.
The video clip of Game’s alleged confession eventually made rounds on social media, and fans criticized him for it.
“Bruh you’re openly admitting that you cheated on Mya?” one user wrote.
“Mya dodged a major bullet,” another user said.
“What point do you get for fumbling dope women?” another user wrote.
“And folks say women talk too much,” a user said.
“All these women choosing themselves, and here go these ashies reminiscing,” a user commented.
“All these washed-up clowns wanna have taxi cab confessions now. We do not care,” another user insisted.
Mýa has not commented on The Game’s recollection.
