The divorce between DeVon Franklin and Meagan Good is moving along quickly.
The Blast reported that Good’s estranged husband had filed legal documents with the preliminary declaration of disclosure– meaning he has submitted all of his financial records to his soon-to-be ex-wife. Typically, the publication reported that the process happens when a divorce is almost final. It also includes whatever settlement is decided upon.
“The preliminary declaration of disclosure shall include all tax returns filed by the declarant within the two years before the date that the party served the declaration. … The preliminary declaration may also set forth the declarant’s characterization of each asset or liability,” a description of the document revealed.
The proceeding comes after Franklin declared that the couple had been separated for at least four months before they announced their pending divorce. Court documents submitted by the pastor stated that they had been apart since August 21, though he filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences in December.
When news of the divorce broke, Good and Franklin released a statement together saying, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected. We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault. We believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other.”
