Taraji P. Henson’s ‘Peace of Mind with Taraji’ Begins New Season October 11 on Facebook Watch

If you enjoyed the first season of Peace of Mind with Taraji, you’re in luck. The second season of the Facebook Watch show is set to premiere, and her first guest will be Megan Thee Stallion.

According to the season two trailer, the show promises to be even better than last season. Taraji has heart-to-heart conversations with Black people about their life experiences and things that matter the most.

On Peace of Mind with Taraji, the award-winning actress and her good friend and co-host Tracie Jade tackle mental health issues that often beset the Black community but are rarely expressed out loud.

The general format of the show is to feature both celebrities and everyday people speaking about their lives while Taraji and her co-host add their own experiences as related to the topic. Then, a licensed mental health professional offers tools and techniques to cope.

In the season header, Megan Thee Stallion will sit down with Taraji and Tracie and discuss how she’s overcome the trials in her life and manages to still be positive.

Amber Morino will discuss the childhood abuse she endured and her experience in the foster care system. Dr. TK Jackson will give viewers advice on maintaining sound mental health in the face of challenges and toxicity.

Taraji and Tracie will sit with other guests such as Chloe Bailey, Chance the Rapper, and Angela Simmons throughout the remainder of the season.

The show will also examine controversial yet discussion-worthy topics, including gun violence, domestic violence, emotional blockages in Black men, and COVID-19 loss.

Peace of Mind with Taraji is a suitable medium for the at-home audience to learn more about their favorite celebrities. It uncovers the layers that so many people experience regardless of popularity and removes the stigma of mental illness and mental health challenges.

Season two will premiere on Oct. 11 at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST on Facebook Watch.
