Singer and reality star Tamar Braxton shut down dating and engagement rumors while being interviewed at the Ultimate Women’s Expo in Atlanta, Georgia.
While being asked if she was involved with anyone, Braxton denied that she was involved with anyone, claiming that the men in Atlanta are “for everybody.”
“I’m involved with being involved with myself,” she stated. “Because these dudes out here is for everybody. And I had to really pick that up, especially moving back to Atlanta. I didn’t know these guys were so communal. Somebody could have told me that.”
She then went into how women are taught to accept things the way they are, like men refusing to commit to one woman.
“I think it’s because us as women we have learned to accept things we should not accept and we are not comfortable with being by ourselves,” she said. “I think once we accept ourselves in our own skin the right person is going to show themselves to us because I’m not interested in sharing your man with me. That’s never going to work.”
She ended by saying that there’s nothing wrong with being alone in this world.
Her comment at the Expo comes after Braxton made a post on Instagram, showing her looking flawless with the caption, “Put it on him make ’em wanna marry me,” followed by the ring emoji.
The Shaderoom posted the video of Braxton on Instagram at the Women’s event, writing in the caption, “Oop! #TamarBraxton says she’s involved with herself after reportedly being engaged to #JeremyRobinson.”
The “Love & War” singer commented, “on know what y’all talmbout… I never said anything about a relationship… but check me out in my new #1 show #thesurreallife tomorrow on @vh1.”
Sis2Sis previously reported that Braxton was seen at a club with Atlanta attorney Jeremy Robinson, celebrating his birthday.
