Takeoff’s Accused Killer Patrick Clark Released On $1 Million Bond

Patrick Clark has been released from jail on a $1 million bond. Held for the murder of Migos member Kirsnick Khari Ball – professionally known as Takeoff – Clark made bond on Wednesday, January 4. According to KTRK, he needs to appear before the court again in March as a condition of his release.

Clark making bail was not without a fight from his lawyer. The 33-year-old suspect’s bond was initially set at $2 million because the opposing prosecutors argued that he was a possible flight risk if he wasn’t kept in custody. After surrendering his passport, it was lowered to $1 million. Clark’s lawyer attempted to argue to the judge that it should be lowered even further to $300,000 because Clark would never be able to come up with that much money.

However, according to previous statements made by Clark himself, Judge Josh Hill deemed that he could and that it was an adequate medium between accessibility and risk.

The conditions of the bond dictate that Clark can’t leave his parent’s home in Houston and cannot have any contact with any of Takeoff’s family.

As previously reported by Sis2Sis, Patrick Clark was arrested in connection to the murder of Takeoff after being identified by fingerprints he left on a bottle at the crime scene. The Migos rapper was shot multiple times early morning on November 1 outside of a downtown Houston bowling alley and pronounced dead on the scene upon the arrival of EMTs. It was determined that he wasn’t involved in any dangerous activity prior to the shooting and was a bystander near an argument that began over a dice game on site.
